One Corner at a Time

We are here to assist homeless individuals with essential necessities while living on the streets. Our group prepares these packages to show our support and love that we have for our community and everyone who lives in it, even if you are just passing through.
The goal for One Corner at a Time is to provide many of the essentials to surrive on the streets. We also campaign for each homeless individual by job searches and employment placement along with promoting the hiring from the street for odd jobs such as; mowing lawns, trash pick up, painting homes and so on. We will create resumes for the homeless so that individuals who are looking to hire know their qualifications.

A Little About Tara

First and formost, I am a Mother of three great kids. I am also a Military Spouse, my Husband is a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy. I currently live with my family in Pensacola, Florida. I graduated in 2013 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and currently work with the Elderly.
I started doing community service such as these packages many years ago (Salvation Army, Giving Tree and Teen Challenge). However, when I met my friend Tara, I knew there was so much more I could offer my community. Tara and I teamed up and created OCAAT. In April of 2014, Pensacola was hit with a ton of rain which caused massive flooding and damage. At that moment, I had a mission which is provide the homeless with a weeks worth of survival products.
I am a Poofy Organics Consultant with a background in law and photography. I have my own business, Tara Glenn Organics. I am also a Navy Veteran, Navy spouse, and the mother of four awesome children. We currently live in Albany, Georgia.
I was inspired by Father Nathan Monk when I was stationed in Pensacola with my husband to get involved with the homeless community. His love for ALL people ALL the time reminded me that it is not my place to judge, but rather help as much as I could. I approached Jen with a crazy idea to put together care packages and she ran farther than I ever imagined with it!
